Integration

 How do I connect Workable to InfoMart?
  1. InfoMart’s API support team will enable the Workable integration, generate an authorization token, and provide that token to you via email.
  2. Next, you will need to enable the InfoMart integration in Workable:
    1. Log in to an administrator account on Workable.
    2. Go to the user menuon the top, righthand side of the screen.
    3. Select
    4. Scroll down to the background checkssection and select
    5. In the box labeled key, paste the API token provided by InfoMart’s API support.
    6. Clickupdate settings.
  3. After you enable the integration, Workable will provide another “assessment token” to InfoMart’s API support team to complete the integration setup.
  4. The Workable system will query InfoMart’s API for your packages, which are pulled from the packages created by your InfoMart implementation team.
  5. Workable and InfoMart will test the integration in a sandbox environment.

 

How long does integration take?

Configuration of a new integration takes from a few hours to a couple of days. We spend roughly a week completing testing and validation to ensure that the integration is running smoothly before it goes live. Depending on the individual situation and the complexity of your workflow, this time frame could vary slightly.

 

What information can I receive via an integration with InfoMart?

Each InfoMart integrated instance is unique to that client. While we have validated a standard integration with Workable, we can make simple customizations to the configurations to ensure that the process matches your workflow. Examples of data returned in integrated environments include:

  • Applicant details name, date of birth, SSN
  • Current address
  • Residence history
  • Background screening results
    • full screening report
    • link to WebASAP to view full screening report often when a customer does not wish to store the full results in the ATS/HCM
    • parsed service results completed/pending; pass/review
  • Adjudication results following our client's final decision
  • Management reporting
  • User maintenance lists
  • Random drug testing pools
  • Store/location data

 

Do you offer technical support during and after integration?

Yes. InfoMart will assign a technical resource to configure any required integrations. This individual is always on-call for urgent technical issues. After implementation, your dedicated team is the point of intake for all concerns - service, turnaround, experience, and technical - so that they can provide a holistic approach to supporting your team.

 

Can you integrate with more than one system simultaneously?

Yes. We currently serve several customers who are integrated with multiple systems simultaneously - submitting candidate data from an ATS, receiving results into their HRIS, and processing post-employment recurring screening through safety/risk systems. At InfoMart, this isn't "extra work" - it's just the right way to do business

How long does a background check take with InfoMart?

Turnaround time varies by service, but InfoMart’s average turnaround time is well below the industry-standard three days. Our average criminal turnaround time has been between 1 and 1.5 days for the last several years.

 

How do I request a background check from InfoMart?

To order a background check via Workable, simply select your candidate’s name from your dashboard and either:

  • choose perform a background checkfrom your more options icon or
  • move your candidate to the offerstage and click the magnifying glass

InfoMart also accepts direct entry into our WebASAP system or bulk upload.

 

What is the candidate’s experience during a background check with InfoMart?

InfoMart’s candidate-facing platform eliminates recruiter data entry errors by allowing candidates to enter their own information digitally. When you send an invitation to ASAP Connect out via Workable, your candidate will receive the invitation via email and securely provide any missing identifiers necessary to request a background check and provide an electronic signature.

ASAP Connect links directly to InfoMart’s screening software and background checks are begun as soon as the applicant’s form is received.

What is the recruiter’s experience during a background check with InfoMart?

When you integrate your ATS with InfoMart, you’ll enjoy a “homefield experience”—you’ll be working within the system you already use every day.

Ordering

To order a background check via Workable, simply select your candidate’s name from your dashboard and either:

  • choose perform a background checkfrom your more options icon or
  • move your candidate to the offerstage and click the magnifying glass
Retrieval

A completion notification will be sent to your Workable inbox. Click the notification to open your candidate’s Workable profile and then click view the results on InfoMart. From there, you will sign in to InfoMart’s WebASAP platform to view the candidate’s report.

Ongoing Support

Any concerns or questions that may arise at any point in the screening process can be answered by the client’s dedicated Customer Service Representative, who is always familiar with the details and nuances of your account.
